Parksy Introduces Its No-Lease, No-Fee Parking Model to UAE Drivers

Sydney, Australia — (ARAB NEWSWIRE) — Parksy (parksy.com) is introducing UAE drivers to a parking platform with a premise that takes one sentence to explain and usually a second sentence to believe: all of it is free. Finding parking is free. Listing a space is free. The fine-appeal tool, the sign scanner, the find-my-car tool and the accident report are free. There is no commission anywhere, no subscription needed to use the tools, and for most of them no signup at all.

The platform, founded in Sydney in 2011 and now operating across 57 countries, splits into two halves. The marketplace half connects drivers with parking spaces — commercial car parks, private garages, residents’ unused spots — and takes nothing from either side of the arrangement. No booking fee for the driver, no cut from the owner, no lease paperwork in between. What the two parties agree is theirs.

The tools half is what tends to surprise people. Parksy’s AI-powered appeal calculator helps a driver work out whether a parking fine is worth challenging and drafts the appeal. The sign scanner reads a photographed parking sign and answers plainly whether you can park there and until when — useful anywhere signage stacks four rules onto one pole. A find-my-parked-car tool solves the multi-storey memory problem, and a roadside accident report builds an insurer-ready PDF at the scene. The full set lives at https://www.parksy.com/blog/free-driver-tools.

Founder Daniel Battaglia says the UAE arrival deliberately leads with the model rather than a promotion. “A launch discount expires. Ours cannot, because zero has nowhere to go. We would rather be known in the Emirates from the first day for the same thing we are known for everywhere else: the platform where nobody stands between a driver and a parking space with their hand out.”

Space owners can list a driveway, garage or unused spot in minutes at https://www.parksy.com/rent-your-space-free.

“Parking should be the easiest part of the journey,” Battaglia said. “In a region this proud of its roads, it is overdue to be the cheapest part too.”
